I was inspired by Victoria Theodore's blog, The Musical Life, to finally start this blog. Check out her blog. I am following her it and I encourage you to do the same. As well, the AfriClassical blog is well worth your time if you have any interest in the contributions of classical composers of African descent.

Having been thinking of ways to document my experiences in this life of music that I have the fortunate opportunity to live, I have thought of blogging for months. It allows access to a writing space no matter where I am: on my Blackberry, at the library, the home of a friend or my home office. I look forward to sharing musical journeys with my friends and associates and look forward to the discourse!
